Cara Mark, a New Jersey native, came to the Washington, D.C. area to attend the George Washington University.  She is a CPA and is currently employed by Cherry Bekaert LLP in Bethesda. Recently, Cara and her husband experienced the emotional difficulty of caring for an immediate family member with vascular dementia, as well as the tragedy of a close childhood friend's toddler passing away from cancer. So, she has a deep appreciation for CaringMatters, its mission and services. Cara has attended the gala since 2014. She was moved by the program and understands the importance of giving back to the community. As a result, she joined the Raise Your Glass Wine Tasting planning committee. Cara sincerely appreciates the warm community involved in the CaringMatters organization and looks forward to continuing to serve on the Board of Trustees.
