We are officially two for two with perfect golf weather! On September 8, 2024, the CaringMatters 2nd Annual Golf Tournament brought sunshine, camaraderie, and an unforgettable day of fun and philanthropy to Lakewood Country Club.
​
Thanks to the tireless leadership of Event Chair, Bill Hard, and his outstanding host committee, the tournament was a tremendous success. Our foursomes enjoyed smooth play across the course under flawless skies, setting the stage for a day filled with connection and purpose.
​
The celebration kicked off in grand style with a moving rendition of the national anthem by Irish Tenor Mark Forrest. After an exciting day on the greens, golfers were welcomed to the post-tournament reception by the stirring sounds of a live bagpiper before joining our spirited auction, led by none other than our Board Chair, Craig Rice, who kept the energy high and the hands raised.

Because of the incredible generosity of our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers, we not only met but exceeded our fundraising goal—ensuring that CaringMatters can continue providing comfort and compassionate support to those who need it most.

CaringMatters 1st Annual Golf Tournament
What a day! The CaringMatters 1st Annual Golf Tournament on September 9, 2024, was an amazing success due to our dedicated Event Chair, Bill Hard, and the entire host committee. The weather was 100% perfect for all of our foursomes to move smoothly and happily through the course at Lakewood Country Club. We were honored to have Mark Forrest join us to sing the national anthem. Andy Pollin, our special guest at the reception, spoke about his experience as a Camp Erin volunteer. And as always, our auctioneer and Board Chair, Craig Rice, was a crowd-pleaser!
