Kenneth Nelson
Board of Directors
Kenneth Nelson has for more than 20 years served as the director of business and community outreach at Montgomery College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education unit. For over a decade, he also has served as pastor of Seneca Community Church in Germantown, MD. Kenneth's board and association experience includes American Cancer Society of North Nashville, the Black Ministers Conference of Montgomery County, Boy Scouts of America National Capital Area Council, numerous chambers of commerce, and more.

In 2022, Kenneth was named as one of the 2022 Montgomery Serves Awards honorees for his remarkable commitment to service and volunteerism in our community, earning him one of Montgomery County's highest recognition for his contributions.
Kenneth has an M.A. in Ministry, an M.A in Communications and a B.S. Health Sciences. He brings strong connections to the faith community, engages members of his church in CaringMatters' work and supports the organization's outreach to more diverse communities, one of our key strategic goals.
