Lauren Malone Grunley joined the CaringMatters Board in 2024 after two years of volunteering with the Volunteer Helping Hands Program. Her personal experience of loss in 2020 inspired her involvement with the organization, where she channels her gratitude for the support she once received into fostering compassion and assistance for others in need.

 

An accomplished finance professional with dual degrees in accounting and finance, Lauren has spent the past several years managing various aspects of corporate financial planning for Grunley Construction, a local, family-owned General Contractor. She consistently aims to leverage her expertise in financial analysis to help better drive operational efficiencies within the organizations she serves.
 

Lauren is involved with several other nonprofits, including Friends of Cancer Research Foundation, the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and Suburban Hospital.
