Leah Schwartz, LCSW-C
Clinical Director, Camp Erin

Leah Schwartz joined CaringMatters as the Clinical Director of Camp Erin in 2025. She is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in clinical social work, leadership, and program management. Before joining the staff, Leah was already involved in CaringMatters, serving as a volunteer Big Buddy at Camp Erin in both 2023 and 2024.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to get more involved with Camp Erin and use my clinical experience to support campers, families, and volunteers in this new role,” Leah said. “Having worked with various camps for over 20 years, I have witnessed the positive impact and magic of a camp experience.”
​
Outside of CaringMatters, Leah also currently serves as the Director of Counseling Services at EveryMind. She leads school- and community-based mental health programs in Montgomery County, providing strategic direction and ensuring quality service delivery.
​
Leah has a proven track record in designing and facilitating impactful community training, therapeutic group facilitation, and supporting mental health initiatives during crises. Beyond her professional work, Leah serves on EveryMind’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council and the Bender JCC's Inclusion Advisory Council.
As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C), Leah is committed to fostering inclusive environments, supporting mental health advocacy, and providing high-quality care to individuals and families. One form of self-care that Leah particularly enjoys is spending time with her beloved dog, Rosie.
