Welcome Our New AmeriCorps Members

We are thrilled to welcome two new AmeriCorps members to our staff for the next year!

Cassie Motok & Amy Tran

Please join us in welcoming our new AmeriCorps member, Amy Tran and Cassie Motok. They are serving as full time staff members at CaringMatters for their year of service to AmeriCorps.


Amy is our AmeriCorps Project CHANGE member working in Children’s Bereavement Services with Good Grief Clubs, Family Nights and Camp Erin. She brings experience working with children as an intern at Cannon Road Elementary School. She is a recent graduate of University of Maryland College Park where she received a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She was born and raised in Montgomery County.  

Cassie join the CaringMatters team as our new AmeriCorps Volunteer Maryland member. She graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minors in both Marketing and Communications. While working as the philanthropy chair for her college fraternity, she developed a passion for serving others. Cassie currently resides in Frederick, Maryland.


The CaringMatters staff and volunteers are all really excited to work with them this year! Welcome to the Cottage, Amy and Cassie!
